She retired from Property Control for Georgia Regional Hospital where she worked for many years. Morrison, III, Grace Morrison, Faith Morrison, and Zachary Morrison; sisters and in-laws Milbry Ann Griner (late-husband, Bill); Linda Boyd (late-husband, Sherwood), Judy Nichols (husband, Brooks); and many loved nieces and nephews of varying degrees. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edwina Franklin, her brothers Johnny Franklin and Russell Franklin, her sister Ruth Helen Fletcher, and her granddaughter Rebekah Morrison. Her body will rest, awaiting the return of Christ, at Bonaventure Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2017 in the Hodgson Chapel Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.

I am sorry for your loss. Death is painful to all of us. However God's word the Bible always offers encouragement. A scripture I find comforting is Isaiah 25:8. There Jehovah promises to do away with death and all things that bring us pain. That will be very satisfying! I hope this thought has been comforting to you. May positive thoughts fill you hearts and minds as you endure this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I wish I had been able to look earlier about the viewing Sunday. I will see y’all tomorrow at the funeral. Love you very much. Shirley & Jimmy

Mr. Steve, Stevie, Robbie, and Family, I know this is a very hard time and will continue to be. I'm so sorry about Mrs. Joyce's passing. Mama's are the glue. She is out of pain and being showered with blessings by the Lord, for her loving and sacrificing ways. She will be around in spirit and you will feel her still loving and caring for y'all. Honor her by loving each other and sticking together through thick and thin. I am thankful we have remained neighbors and friends for as long as I can remember. God's Grace, Peace, Comfort, and Love, I pray for y'all during this and all times. One breath at a time!
